Harvard Medical Park Growth and Development

The Harvard Medical Park management group enters our 46th year trying to uphold and maintain the objectives envisioned in 1964; to create a medical campus where quality medical, surgical and dental care, patient convenience, and state-of-the-art-technology are the goals.

During our fortieth year and keeping these goals in mind, HMP finalized the 25+ year lease agreement with Mercy Medical Center for a 14,678 sq. ft. imaging and diagnostic center with the expansion located in what was previously the Roseburg Surgicenter. The expansion features connectivity between the expanded new imaging center and the previous 5,000 sq. ft. imaging center operated by Mercy.

In 2003, HMP acquired the 1936 W. Harvard building and property that has an existing long-term lease through October 2012 with the State of Oregon, DHS.

In addition, HMP invested in a real estate joint venture, Pacific Investment Associates, LLC that owns the Guam Medical Plaza building in Taminung, Guam.  Another real estate investment is Island Development Associates LLC, which owns a 1.2 acre parking lot at Guam Medical Plaza.  HMP also invested in financing the equipment for Guam Surgicenter, LLC which is managed by Pacific Medical Management, LLC and ABCT, Inc.

The HMP Partners and Tenants continue to be actively involved in the management of various health care developments: Oregon Surgery Center, LLC, DCIPA, Douglas Medical Clinic, PC and Roseburg Clinic, PC. We have also been instrumental in helping recruit new physicians to our community.
